The Life You Want Program
This program is for you if you've been carrying a goal in your head for a while and haven't found the right structure to actually go after it. Or if things have shifted in your life and you're figuring out what comes next. Or if you're just tired of starting over.
The Life You Want is nine months. Not a workshop. Not a one-time event. A cohort... meaning you start with a group of people, grow alongside them, and finish together in December.
Your past shaped chapters you did not choose. From here forward, you hold the pen.
A free 9-month program for youth 16-29 in the Greater Toronto Area
THIS PROGRAM WAS BUILD FOR YOU IF:
-
You're between 16 and 29 and living in the Greater Toronto Area
-
You have a goal... or a feeling that you want something different, but don't know how to make it real
-
You want structure, community, and a method that actually sticks
-
You're open to doing the work, even when it gets uncomfortable
-
You do not need to have things figured out. You just need to want something to change.
WHAT YOU WILL BUILD:
Over 9 months, you will develop:
-
A goal rooted in what actually matters to you — not what you think you should want
-
Self-awareness about your values, strengths, and what has been getting in the way
-
A personal tracking system using the Bullet Journal method
-
Habits and routines that support your goal long-term
-
A plan for when life interrupts — because it will
-
A community of peers in small accountability pods
-
A digital certificate with recognized skills you can add to your resume and LinkedIn
This cohort has 37 spots. Small on purpose. Small means you're not anonymous. You get known, and you get to know people.
This is an application, not a registration. Not because we're looking for the "right" answers. There are no right answers. We just want to know a little about where you're at and what you're hoping for.
If you submit and realize you said something differently than you meant to, you can update your responses. Nothing is locked in. The application is just the start of a conversation.
You don't need to be ready. You don't need to have your goal figured out. You don't need to feel worthy of a spot. If any part of you wants this, that's enough to apply.

WHAT WE COVER EACH MONTH
Note: The monthly topics below reflect our current program plan. As we learn from each cohort, topics and activities may evolve to best serve the group. The framework and tools will remain consistent.
Set Your Goal
April 25
Our full-day in-person launch. You will learn about the program, get your materials, connect with your cohort, and set your first meaningful goal using heart centred framework — starting with how you want to feel, not just what you want to achieve. You leave with a written goal and a 90-day milestone.
Tools: Heart-Centered Framework, Bullet Journal introduction
Know Your Why
May
27
We go deeper on what is driving your goal. Using a strengths and peak moments exercise, you will identify your values and make sure your goal is truly yours. You will also complete a Wheel of Life assessment to see where you are starting from across key areas of your life.
Tools: 7 Habits — Habit 1: Be Proactive (Stephen Covey), Wheel of Life
Build Your Tracking System
June
25
You receive your dotted journal and set up your Bullet Journal. This is your personal system for logging progress, tracking habits, and running a weekly review. We walk through the setup together in the session so you leave ready to use it.
Tools: Bullet Journal — monthly log, habit tracker, weekly review
First Milestone Check-In
July
28
Your 90-day milestone review. We look at what happened, what did not, and what got in the way. You will map your personal obstacles — internal and external — and build a response plan for when those obstacles show up again.
Tools: Obstacle mapping, When/Then planning, 7 Habits — Habit 3: Put First Things First
Build Your Vision
August
26
We zoom out from the 90-day goal and look at the bigger picture. Where do you want to be in one year, three years, ten years? This session is about developing the habit of thinking long-term and connecting your current goal to a larger vision for your life.
Tools: 1/3/10-year horizon exercise, 7 Habits — Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind
Who Are You Becoming?
Sept
22
A mid-program identity check-in. You will revisit your Wheel of Life from Month 2 and see what has shifted. Using the Career Stories Method, you will identify who you have been becoming since April — and set a fresh 90-day goal for the final stretch of the program.
Tools: Career Stories Method (Kerri Twigg)
Wheel of Life reassessment
Heart Center Framework revisit
When Life Gets in the Way
Oct
28
This session addresses what most goal-setting programs skip. Life will interrupt your progress. We talk honestly about non-linear progress, the difference between a pause and a quit, and how to build a personal reset plan so getting back on track feels doable, not shameful.
Tools: Resilience framework, re-entry planning, 7 Habits — Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
Build Habits That Last
Nov
25
We look at the systems underneath your goal. How habits are formed, how to stack them, how to design your environment to support your goals, and what the minimum version of your goal looks like on a hard day. Your Bullet Journal weekly review practice is reinforced here.
Tools: Atomic Habits — habit loop, habit stacking, two-minute rule (James Clear)
Your Next Chapter + Celebration
Dec
17
We close the program together. You will complete your Final Reflection — the last piece required for your certificate — and share your Next Chapter with the group: a narrative of who you have become since April, not just what you achieved. You will open the envelope you sealed on Day 1 and receive your Life You Want Certificate. This session is both an ending and a starting point.
Tools: Career Stories Method (Kerri Twigg),
Final Reflection,
Next Chapter writing.
