Success Accelerator recognizes youth that exemplifies leadership traits and embodies the organization values.
Eligibility criteria: demonstration of commitment to growth (i.e. attended Success Accelerator programs or workshops), supportive to our local community, and brings out the best in themselves and their peers during the calendar year.
To be considered, please participant in any of our programs and show up for yourself!
Eligibility: Young adults 16-29 residing within the Greater Toronto Area that participated in Success Accelerator programs while demonstrating leadership traits and embodying the organization values.

Youth of the Year 2023 will be selected after the end of 2023 and will be announced early 2024.
Exemplifying Values Awards
Starting 2023, we are on the lookout for youth that exemplifies our organization values, as these awards are given out throughout the years, this webpage will be updated to celebrate their success!
Shebah Toussaint
Shebah Toussaint is a long-time Success Accelerator participant and piloted a peer-instructor workshop at the start of 2023. As a participant, she shows up with an open heart and mind as she continues her healing journey, she holds space for peers as they navigate their experience, thoughts, and emotions beautifully. She is the first to lead a peer-instructor role to run a Vision Board Workshop to build a stronger community through creating more clarity around what we want for ourselves in the upcoming year.
Shebah's contagious loving energy, talent, and tenaciousness make her a wonderful candidate for Youth of the Year.

Alisha Bailey
Alisha Bailey is a Success Accelerator Youth Ambassador. In this role, she has demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and leadership. Alisha is a team-player and frequently contributes ideas in a way that is respectful and collaborative. She is not afraid to share her perspective and has a skill for communicating effectively to ensure that work gets done and all team members are working together. She attends every meeting and meets deadlines, making sure that she is being a supportive team member.
In her professional life, Alisha currently works at a law firm and is interested in becoming a lawyer. She volunteers for a number of organizations and is passionate about serving the community and ensuring that other youth get access to services that would benefit them.
Alisha's work ethic, commitment, and creativity make her an excellent candidate for Youth of the Year.
